The cancellation policy for any of our tours and holiday packages will be as follows:

COVID-19 & Other Pandemics

Home Country Lockdown & Red List

If your home country is under lockdown during the tour or puts Bangladesh on the Red List because of COVID-19 or any other pandemic, you can cancel the tour free of charge. We will keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except for the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use it to book any tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided.

To be eligible for this offer, you must email us within 48 hours of your government’s announcement. If you notify us after 48 hours, this protection will not apply, and the regular cancellation charge will apply instead.

Bangladesh Lockdown & Quarantine

If Bangladesh is under lockdown, or you need to quarantine upon arrival in Bangladesh during the tour, you can reschedule or cancel the tour free of charge and keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use the credit to book a tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided.

However, in all cases mentioned above, we’ll provide a full refund for booking any day tour except for any cancellation charges made to us, e.g., by the airline for the flight tickets already booked.

Travel Alerts

If your home country’s foreign office issues any advisory not to travel to Bangladesh that remains valid two weeks before the tour, you can cancel the tour free of charge. We will keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except for the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use it to book any tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided except for the day tours.

Cancellation by the Client

Cancellation up to 90 days before the tour

Free of charge. We will keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except for the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use it to book any tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided.

Cancellation from 89 days to 60 days before the tour

For Private Tours:

Free of charge. We will keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except for the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use it to book any tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided.

For Group Tours:

25% of the tour price will be charged, and the remaining deposit will be refunded (except the 3% online payment processing fees).

Cancellation from 59 days to 30 days before the tour

25% of the tour price will be charged, and the remaining deposit will be refunded (except the 3% online payment processing fees).

Cancellation from 29 days to 7 days before the tour

50% of the tour price will be charged, and the remaining deposit will be refunded (except the 3% online payment processing fees).

Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour

75% of the tour price will be charged, and the remaining deposit will be refunded (except the 3% online payment processing fees).

Cancellation on the tour day or No-show

For multi-day tours and holiday packages, 75% of the tour price will be charged, and the remaining deposit will be refunded (except the 3% online payment processing fees). No refund will be provided for day tours.

Cancellation by Nijhoom Tours

National Emergencies & Natural Disasters

If Nijhoom Tours is unable to run the tour due to any national emergency in Bangladesh, such as political unrest, civil unrest, protest, or similar, or natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, cyclones, tornadoes, floods, or similar, we will cancel the tour and keep your deposit as a credit for you without expiration (except for the 3% online payment processing fees). You can use it to book any tour with us in the future. No refund will be provided.

However, we’ll provide a full refund for booking any day tours except for any cancellation charge made to us, e.g., by the airlines for the flight tickets already booked.

Chittagong Hill Tract Permits

If Nijhoom Tours cannot run the tour because the Bangladesh government not issuing the Chittagong Hill Tract Permits, you can book a different tour without the Chittagong Hill Tracts or reschedule your tour. No refund will be provided.

Other Reasons

If Nijhoom Tours cancels your booking for any unexpected reason not mentioned above, you can reschedule the tour without any additional price if that works for you. If not, we’ll provide you with a full refund.

Cancellation Procedure

  • All cancellations must be made by replying to the booking confirmation email.
  • No cancellations except those in writing in reply to the booking confirmation email will be accepted.
  • We will not accept any cancellation over the phone, WhatsApp, or any other way other than the one mentioned above.
