Joined a small group on the Bangladesh Express 18 day tour. It was fantastic as we covered most of the country and go to saw not only the historic sites but the Sundarbans Mangrove forests and also many places off the usual tourist tours.
All of this was thanks to our guide Hasan, who is also the owner of the company. He is informative and was able to share some special locations known to him. Also praise for our driver as we covered many miles but always felt safe in what be be challenging other road users. The hotels were a pleasant surprise as 3* to 4* all with en-suite.
I would highly recommend for travellers looking for a real experience of life in Bangladesh. Highlights for me were the silent small boat outings in the small channels of the Sundarbans and seeing the wildlife in their natural environment and also the stone collectors in their boats in the North but there is so much more.
