Visiting Bangladesh in January with a group of only three led to one of the best tours I have taken in a while.
The owner/leader Hasan was an absolutely fantastic man with attention to detail who not only showed our group what was on the itinerary but was able to include much more. He is passionate about his country and between him and our extremely confident driver (whom you will need to navigate the roads) we were able get to our destinations without problems.
Seeing the historical side as well as the natural side of the country was a plus. And the 18 day tour includes it all.
Surprisingly our accommodations were lovely and all were en suite with all the amenities of home. The food is delicious whether bought on the street or in the restaurants and the locals are interesting and interested. And photos are encouraged. Especially of the boys and men who seem to want to be a stars of the camera.
So leave your fears behind and go find what Bangladesh is all about.
