I was particularly impressed with the food

Bangladesh had long been on my list, and Nijhoom Tours delivered. The 14-day Glories of Bangladesh tour was my choice because it covered all three UNESCO World Heritage sites, a travel priority for me.

Hasan, the owner, is extremely well organized, and he accompanied our small group as tour leader after the second day. His attention to detail was superb, and the itinerary was well thought out and executed.

I was particularly impressed with the food, especially on the boat in the Sundarbans. The cook was superb. Really all the restaurants we frequented were carefully chosen for authenticity and cleanliness.

We saw an amazing array of things on this tour, and much thought went into how best to execute each step. Travel can be tricky even across town, and whether by car, boat, or air, careful consideration was given to the vessels, the drivers, the route, and safety was number one.

From airport pick-up onward, dependable local knowledge is a high priority for me in my travels. Both Hasan and Opu, who guided us the first two days in Dhaka, were an asset in this regard.
