We had a fantastic trip to Bangladesh with Nijhoom tours. We booked the Classic Tour which covered the breadth of Bangladesh. Hasan provided very quick communication and gave good advice which lead me to book this 14 day tour instead of a shorter tour. There is so much to see in Bangladesh and we felt this tour gave us a full view of the country.
This things we did on this tour would be virtually impossible to do on your own unless you have unlimited time. We covered the major archeological sites in the country including all three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Dhaka, 15th century city Bagerhat, the 8th century Buddhist monastery Somapura Mahavihara, the abandoned city of Panam Nagar, a three day two night boat cruise in the Sundarban mangrove forest in search of the elusive Bengal tiger.
The boat cruise in the Sundarban was especially enjoyable due to the small rowboat in which we able to go silently up the rivers and inlets to see the bird and animal life. The cook on this boat cruise was incredible. The best food on the tour was on the boat.
The absolute highlight of this tour were the people we encountered. These were the friendliest people we have encountered in a long time. We were endlessly asked to take selfies with the people we encountered. We felt very safe everywhere we went inducing the exploring the streets of Dhaka in tuk tuks (very fun).
We saw very few tourists in both Dhaka and in the countryside which is very hard to do these days.
Thanks Hasan for a memorable trip!
