14 Days Glories of Bangladesh Tour with a local operator to visit the most glorious sights and attractions
Price: From $2,220 US* per person

Visit Bangladesh’s most glorious sights and attractions, including all three UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Sundarban mangrove forest, the historic 15th-century city of Bagerhat, and the massive 8th-century Buddhist monastery Somapura Mahavihara, with visiting the dilapidating Hindu temples of Puthia, spending three days at Sreemangal – the tea capital of Bangladesh, a day tour to Sonargaon – the old capital of Bengal, and much more. You’ll get a taste of nature and wildlife at Sundarban and Sreemangal, combined with exploring some great archaeological sites and experiencing life in Bagerhat, Rajshahi, Sonargaon, and Dhaka.

Starting with visiting the megacity Dhaka, one of the most densely populated cities in the world full of activities and an excellent place for street photography, and an overnight journey on a traditional Bangladeshi passenger ferry, you’ll see the numerous archaeological mosques at Bagerhat, including the famous Sixty Dome Mosque, spend three days inside Sundarban mangrove forest, and visit the dilapidating Hindu temples of Puthia built during the British colonial period in 18th & 19th century.

After that, see the 16th-century Kusumba Mosque, one of the two stone-built mosques in Bangladesh, and visit Somapura Mahavihara, the second largest Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas from the 8th century, and a Santal tribal village en route to experience their lifestyle. Afterward, visit the largest bazaar in north-western Bangladesh, full of activities, and a sandbank island of river Brahmaputra to experience how people live in these small islands struggling with natural disasters.

Later spend three days enjoying the endless tea plantations, villages of different tribes, and the Lawachhara National Park in search of endangered Western Hoolock Gibbons in Sreemangal, and a day in the old capital Sonargaon near Dhaka before returning home. The perfect tour to spend your two-week holiday in Bangladesh!

This tour is available to book anytime outside our schedule, year-round. Private tours are available to book for a group of two people minimum. Solo travelers can join any of our scheduled tours. If available, you can share rooms with total same-sex strangers to save costs. Also can book a Single Supplement if you need private rooms.
