This tour is available for booking on either a private or group basis for a minimum of 4 travelers. Seats are limited to only 8. Solo travelers can join an already-scheduled group tour only. They can share rooms with total strangers of the same sex to save costs. Can also book a Single Supplement if they need private rooms. If you have an early-morning flight, we’ll offer a discount on your accommodation for the last night. Private and group tours are available for booking at any time outside of our scheduled tours. Inclusions and Exclusions

Tour includes:
  • All airport transfers in Bangladesh.
  • All internal flights.
  • All accommodation in hotels and boat cabins as mentioned in the itinerary with complimentary breakfast on a twin-sharing basis.
  • $115 US per person forest permit fee for Sundarban.
  • All meals, drinking water, tea, and coffee while on the boat at Sundarban for three days on day-4, 5, and 6.
  • An air-conditioned car, driver, and an English-speaking guide.
  • 1st class cabin on a traditional passenger ferry to Barisal/Hularhat on a twin-sharing basis.
  • All boat rides.
  • All entrance tickets.
  • Before departure, take to the Covid-19 testing center in Dhaka to provide the sample and collect the report if necessary.
  • All tips except our guide, driver, and boat crew in Sundarban.

What is the best time to visit Bangladesh with a Nijhoom Holiday Package?

The best time to visit Bangladesh is during the dry season, which runs from October to March. During this time, the weather is pleasant, and you can enjoy outdoor activities and sightseeing without the inconvenience of heavy rainfall or extreme heat. However, Nijhoom offers tours year-round, so you can choose a package that suits your preferences and schedule.

What are the accommodation options for solo travelers?

Solo travelers can share rooms with a same-sex stranger to reduce cost or have private rooms by booking a Single Supplement.

What kind of meals are included in the Nijhoom Bangladesh Holiday Packages?

Nijhoom Bangladesh Holiday Packages generally include complimentary breakfast from the hotels. Lunch and dinner are not included. If a hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, we'll take you to a local restaurant for breakfast, which is included in the tours. All meals, tea, coffee, and drinking water are included for the three days in the Sundarbans Mangrove Forest. Lunch with takeaway cooked local meal or locally purchased fruits is included on the boat in Barisal.

Are vegetarian and vegan meals available on Nijhoom Bangladesh Holiday Packages?

Vegetarian and vegan meals will be available in restaurants in Bangladesh. However, options will be limited for vegan meals. You'll find more options in Western restaurants for this kind of meal. Vegetarian and vegan meals will not be a problem on our boat in Sundarbans. Our cook will prepare some delicious dishes for you. If you are a vegan, it will be good to always carry some food with you.

Is alcohol available in Bangladesh?

Foreigners are legally allowed to buy alcohol in Bangladesh. There are many bars and warehouses around the country, run by the government and private companies, where you can purchase alcohol by showing your foreign passport. The cost of a can of beer will be about $3 US.

Is an on-arrival visa available in Bangladesh?

Yes. Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many other countries can get a visa on arrival for a maximum duration of 30 days.

Is on-arrival visa resumed after the pandemic?

Yes, it is.

What is the fee for an on-arrival visa?

$51 US, including taxes.

Do you provide visa assistance?

Yes, we do. We'll provide all the necessary paperwork for your on-arrival visa if you book a Bangladesh Holiday Package with us.

Can I book a tour outside your schedule?

Absolutely. You can book a tour anytime outside our schedule. The price for that will be based on your group size. Once you book a tour and other people join the tour later, your cost will be reduced accordingly. We need a 25% deposit to book our Bangladesh Holiday Packages.

Can I book a private tour?

Sure. You can book a private tour any time of the year.

How can I reduce costs on your Bangladesh holiday packages?

You can reduce costs on our Bangladesh holiday packages by joining our group tours in long advance. You can get an early-bird discount for that. Also, you can get an off-season discount by booking from April to September.

Are the permits to visit the Chittagong Hill Tracts resumed after the pandemic?

Yes, they did. We are among the very few listed tour operators for the Chittagong Hill Tracts and can arrange a permit anytime. Arranging the Chittagong Hill Tracts permits is included in all of our Bangladesh holiday packages that include the Chittagong Hill Tracts area.
